Bent Sæther (born February 18, 1969 in Oslo, Norway) is the bassist and lead vocalist of the Norwegian psychedelic rock band Motorpsycho. He spent his first years in an apparment complex in Ammerud before he moved to the more rural Ski. At ten, he moved to the family farm in Snåsa in Nord-Trøndelag. Bent went to high school in Steinkjer at 17. About two years later he started taking university courses in English and social anthropology in Trondheim, completing the former.
